Keshav Memorial Educational Society was established in 1940 by Pandit VinayakRaoVidyalankar in remembrance of his father Sri Justice Keshav Rao Koratkar, aJudge of the then erstwhile Hyderabad High Court. During that period, theinstruction in educational institutions, in Hyderabad state under Nizams rule wasmostly in Urdu medium. The Keshav Memorial Educational Society wasestablished with the objectives of providing education through mother tongue i.e.,Telugu and Hindi media, then after some years in English medium. The institution
established became the centre of Nationalistic activity and freedom struggle at atime when the Hyderabad state continues under Nizams rule even after 15th August1947. The National Tricolour flag was hoisted in the campus of Keshav MemorialEducational Society overcoming serious restrictions. Over the years theeducational institutions under the society have grown in number, size and qualitycovering various fields of education. The Society proudly celebrated the Platinum Jubilee,75 years in the year 2014-15.
