Placement Officer

The Training & Placement Cell of Keshav Memorial College, is to provide students with various career advancement avenues and to train the students with all the required skills that would enable them to excel in the corporate world.

Training and Placement Cell of the Institute centrally handles campus placements of the graduating students of the college. The Cell provides complete support to the visiting companies at every stage of placement process. The College is well equipped with ample infrastructure in terms of halls for presentations, Pre-Placement Talks, Written Tests, and labs for Online Test, Rooms for Mock Interviews etc.

OBJECTIVES:

• To develop the students to meet the corporate expectation and place them in reputed companies based on the expected job profiles of each student.
• To create awareness among students regarding available career options and help them in identifying their career objectives.
• To Guide the students in developing skills and job-search strategies required to achieve their career objectives.
• Updating the students about the current market trends periodically to prepare for the industry expectations.
• To Act as a bridge between students, corporates & Alumni.

A Placement Officer's key duties typically include:

• Coordinating with companies: Inviting companies for campus placements, scheduling interviews, and facilitating communication.
• Student placement: Assisting students in preparing for interviews, resume building, and providing career guidance.
• Job fairs and drives: Organizing job fairs, campus recruitment drives, and other placement events.
• Industry connections: Building and maintaining relationships with industry partners to ensure continuous placement opportunities.
• Tracking placement statistics: Maintaining records of placement data, including number of students placed, companies visited, and job profiles.
• Career development: Providing training and workshops to enhance students' employability skills.
